I installed a new overhead console in my truck, the longer version, like I had in my 2002 truck. The console came out of a Tahoe, everything plugged right in without any issues. The problem I'm having is the overhead console that I installed also has the "Homelink" remote garage door openers in it. The remotes don't work until I turn on the map lights. I can turn the map light on/off and it will also work. Can anyone explain a possible cure for this one?
