Being a 93 you have a mechanical injection pump. so you will be looking for a DB2 4911 (if turbocharged) or a 5088. The 94 and up had DS4 injection pumps that were electronic and had different color labels for the makes, which won't apply to you.

Does the DB2 4911 fit my 92 turbo too, or is it a differnt model?

I drive a 93' and I just bought a IP off an individual, its new, never been used, but I am affraid that it may be for a 6.2? Where can I go to find out how to identify them? And is there a difference in the db2 ip? The ideal was to use it as a core for rebiulding, till i found out it was new.
First rule of IP ID: NEVER assume anything until you read the tag. There's a lot of swapping that goes on and you never know when a guy may have put a 6.2 pump on a 6.5 because it fits and was cheap...

thanks, Im going to get the numbers off mine and compare, maybee see if i can figure out where this pump was intended to go. I was assuming that the only difference would be the amount of feul pumped for the 6.2 and 6.5. Local diesel shops have been useless for getting any info.
