DISPLAY TROUBLE CODES?

I have a 1993 6.5L TD. How do I get codes from the truck? I have bought a EZ-SCAN 5000 only to find out they do not cover diesel trucks.What gives! How do guys go about getting the codes.

Pre-'96 electronic 6.5Ls are wired for GM's OBDI diagnostics. A scanner isn't required to get codes; the tech section at the Kennedy Diesel site shows photo of a jumper wire at the scanner's plug-in connector beneath dash.Try search for OBDI codes?
