I run 235 85 16, and they will rub together
with about 3.5K load and stock rims. With Alu rims about 3/4 inch more gap, no rubbing

In other words, if you stay with stock wheels use stock tire size (215/85/16)or they will rub (the rear duals will rub each other causing excessive heat and cause a blow out)when loaded. You MIGHT get away with 235/85/16's if you air'em up and run empty...no load. Some guys just risk it though, but we probably won't hear anything about a blow out 'cause there would be a gazillion "I told ya so's".... ;)
