Permently Cancel Change Oil Message Light ?

Anyone out there know how to PERMENTLY cancel the change oil light in the message center.I cancelled it out the first time at 18,000 but it came back on again at 28,000.So I cancelled it again with the stepping on the foot feed 3 times & the ignition switch on then off when done.Is there a way to PERMENTLY cancel it out? I change oil every 4,000 miles so to me its useless.Hammer, smile.gif smile.gif

Why not just reset it everytime you change the oil like it says to in the manual. That way you never have it come on and all it takes is stepping on the pedal 3 times.
