Are they going to increase GVWR?

I'm in the market for a 1 ton dually this spring to carry a camper. I am leaning to GM, but I was wondering if anyone knows if they are planning to match teh 13,000 GVWR on the new Ford? I heard rumors they were coming out with a new body style in spring. I'd sure like that extra 1000 ibs payload, but I dont' want a Powermax.

I think GM has covered this area with there 5500??? I know theres a gap that needs filled but look at how long it took for GM to make a 4x4 with a GVW over 10000 lbs ! If your close to the max rating on a 3500 many guys are changing the tire size to 235/85 or changing the wheels and putting low profile heavy spec tire on it... true its not 100% road legal but it will do the job if your running around 24000 gcw. ASK around this page there are more then just a few guy with HD tires on there 3500 DRW trucks.
