Dash / tail-lights quit!!!!????

Recently my dash/ tail-lights wouldn,t come on when I turned the headlights on. My first thought was a blown fuse but it was OK. While I was messing with the fuse they started working. Since then when they didn't work I could "fix" them with a sharp smack on the dash board with my fist. Well that no longer works so I guess I'm gonna have to fix them right. I'm just not sure where to start. Any ideas?

Take a look at the head light switch.

I recently lost my dash and tail lights and the switch fixed it. Auto Zone has the switch, along with other OEM looking items. IIRC the cost was right at $25.

Thanks guys!!!! I bought a headlight switch ( In stock at my local Autozone $36.00) I changed it out in the parking lot of the "China Buffet" while waiting for my take-out order! Problem Solved!
