2500HD trip

Well I now have 2100 miles and just got back from a 500 mile tow ( my first ) and I got 9.1 MPG at 65 mph.
I would think that this early in the mileage that was fairly good. It will be interesting to see what happens around 5-6000 miles

I drove Daytona to Miami yesterday and back today, unloaded, and got 17.9 mpg going mostly 75 mph on cruise.

Mine has 4003 mile as of the key off in the driveway today.

I noticed on your signature line that your truck is a Duramax but Ponch's truck is a Vortec gas. Make sense?

Ponch - is the Vortec engine in your 6.0L or the big block 8.1L?

Well I guess i should of given a little more info.
I do have a 6.6 diesel/ allison and the trailer I was/am pulling is a 2000 Damon-HORNET at 28.5ft
with a gvw of 10000lbs.
