Since I last looked (when I first bought my truck) there has been a huge flush of lift kits coming on the market. At first, I thought the RCD might be the one to get, but I have noticed a large number of guys are using the Superlift and CST. Any opinions on what kit offers a strong setup without limiting choice of wheels/tires too much, i.e. limited backspacing & track widening?
ksevern, I have the 6" Superlift w/ 315/75/16 BFG KO's. It is a real nice setup IMHO. ( check out http://www.superlift.com for more info ) About 28K miles on the truck w/out a single problem ;) Looks great, ride quality is excellent, and I am getting very even tire wear  There are no mods required for this kit, it just bolts on, and is easily removed if you want to go back to stock. I have heard many good things about RCD, Pro Comp, etc., and I am Sure they are all a fine choice. Just do a little research on the web and see what best suits your needs. Price, availability, and a shop that has install experience w/ the one you choose is also very important. The IFS front ends on our trucks is a little tricky, so make sure the installer is a good one. To see pic's of my truck w/ the Superlift, just click on the link in my sig. Good Luck, DinoMax :D :D
