They (GM) say the fix to the hard clutch pedal is a cooler for the transmission. So what is a "fast cooler" and why are you putting one on? And is you don't mind let me know where to look for one

check fastcooler.com .I am putting one on because I pull pretty heavy loads usually right at 26k to 30k gvw.also have juice with attitude

I'd like to see where GM says the ZF6 needs to be cooled down to fix the hard pedal. Can you steer me in the right direction?

MaxACL I remember reading it here a while ago, but I am no good at searching. One of our fellow ZF's took their truck in for hard pedal and in addition to heat wrap tape on the hydraulic line, and replacing the slave cylinder they installed a cooler on the transmission. I'll admit I don't get the connection between hard pedal and hot transmission, unless the heat is traveling up the input shaft of the tranny heating up the brake fluid in the slave cylinder, must be a s#@$ load of heat. Someone with better search abilities may be able to find it.
