Shifts hard from 1st to 2nd

I have a 1993 crew cab 6.5 liter-turbo 4x4 with automatic. I just seemed to notice a hard shift from 1st to 2nd, after just working on 3 different problems. 1. I removed and cleaned fuel canister. 2. I tighted fuel line clamps and routed wires up off back of motor and bellhousing. 3. removed and replaced the 4wd actuator switch in the transfer case(the one that senses the gear selector in the floor board has been moved fron 2wd to 4wd). Could I have gotten into something either electrical or I don't know vacuum, fhat caused this or is it just coincidence.

Scott, what tranny do you have? 4l60 or 4l80?
the 4l60 will have a square pan and the 4l80 will have a rectangle pan with one end kind of rounded on the corners
