Mobil 1 ATF ?

I've done numerous searches but with the exception of "jbplock" , can't seem to find anyone using Mobil 1 ATF. All the posts seem to point to Transynd. Any thouhgts on the Mobil syn. Thanks

I went back to Transynd for a little experiment ...... Wasn't neccessary ..... :eek:

It's on the "approved" list of tranny fluids on Allisons web site .....

Using Mobil 1 products front to back. Use ATF in trany and transfer case for over a year. Great products and can get local.

I'm in the same boat as you. Ready for a change from the Dino tranny fluid. I run Mobil 1 everywhere else with no problems and it's on the approved list. Add that for my general distaste for having to buy anything from a specified dealer at a exaggrated price... I guess I just made up my mind!

I will be making the move to Mobil 1 ATF in the near future. Have Mobil 1 everywhere else.

On this topic, where are you guys getting your Mobil 1 ATF? I am only able to find it at AutoZone and Advance Auto Parts and it only comes in quarts. I would like to find gallon quantities. The cost of a quart is about $6.00. What prices are you guys seeing?
