mag-hytec dif cover

does any one know how many qts the diff. holds with this cover?

I have the Mag-Hytec diff cover installed on my '01 3500. IIRC, I used 7 qts of the $$ GM lube for the install. I think you can squeeze in close to 8 quarts.

The Mag-Hytec will hold pretty close to 8 qts, that's what I put in. As an added bonus, the diff stays pretty cool as well. I think the highest temp I've ever seen while towing and hammering it hard, was about 170*. A very comfortable temp for gear lube, not to mention synthetic lube.
