Has Anyone spindle lifted a 2wd? Who makes the spindle and what size tire can you get under the truck once done? I wanted to get the front of the truck close to the same height as the rear without going ballistic with a full 6 inch lift
I have not personally done this, but an aquaintance of mine lifted his two wheeler like this, I believe he got a kit from Fabtech, they make quality suspension products, even for four wheel drives too. I think with a six inch you might get away with a 35x12.50 or a 315 tire, not sure though.... smile.gif

With the 3.5" spindle lift, you can run 305s. With the 3.5" upper/lower a arms, and coils you can run 315s.
The new two wheel drives are not coil sprung, they are torsion bar just like it's four wheel drive counterpart.

With the new GM HD models the lifts are the same for 4x4`s and 4x2`s. You can run 315x75x16" ( comparable to 35x12.50`s ) you will most likely have to trim a small amount on the valance. ( it is plastic, so that is an easy job.) Because the bumper hangs down as much as the 1/2 tons.
Rancho has a 4" lift, it only raises the rear about two inches. I think most other lifts are 6" or more.
