Poor Mileage

Has anyone had help in improving the mileage on 2003's, 3500's.

My 2001, right out out of the dealer got 35% better. Any fixes ??? :rolleyes:

Try a couple of things. How many miles on the truck? What is your milage in town and on the highway? Read the article called, BREAKING IN A DIESEL ENGINE, on the ford diesel web site. It has some tips in there, which others on here say have worked vary well. Also, [people correct me if I am wrong], check your mass airflow sensor. There is a small piece of foil which covers it when it comes from the factory. Sometimes, it gets pushed up in the sensor, blocking it, thus causing all kinds of problems, including poor milage. What add ons do you have on your truck? How fast do you drive, in town and on the highway? Seriously, don't be afraid to be honest. I wait for your reply, and then we can go from there.
