has anyone ever installed one on a 6.5l. just curious... i hate the feeling of letting of the pedal after getting in it hard and it still accelerating for a brief second...

Only valid for gas engines. Let off the pedal = let of the fuel = instant decrease in power. If it's surging you have pump issues.

blow off valves only work with an engine with a throttle plate. It lets the surge escape without making the throttle plate look like a taco.
