configuring 2003 GMC 2500HD

Hey Folks,

Do any of you Canadian Duramax owners, know, when I can configure a 2003 GMC Sierra, 2500HD on the GMCANADA website. That is what I am looking to get. A 2003, crew cab, long box, with the six-speed Alison, and the new sound system, etc, etc. Any imput would be appreciated. If you do not know, what is the GMCANADA phone number? As odd as it sounds, I cannot find the damn thing on their web site. Thanks.

Silverado 3500HD models Discontinued

Silverado 3500HD w/ Special Equipment & Paint Discontinued

These startup production dates are US, I guess, but don't know. You can contact Wheels, inc. or call GMc customer service. I have no idea why they show the HD's as discontinued. Some models say TBD-to be decided.

I was under the impression that the 3500HD was discountued with the last body style change. But I may be wrong.

afaik, the 3500HD is still avalable, but it is still the classic [88-99] body style & only avalable with the 6.5td

The 3500HD (old C/K body style) is being phased out right now, replaced by the 2003 C4500. As far as 2003 configuring, you should be able to do it at the dealer right now, but the web site doesn't usually change over until late Sept/early Oct. I guess they want customers to be interested in the current model and buy all of them before getting serious about next year's product.
