Extended Warranty - 3rd Party in California

I'm at 23,000 miles and now contemplating extended warranties. I received an email from Warranty Direct indicating they got approval to offer "a true exclusionary MBI policy for California residents". This is the first 3rd party extended warranty I've heard being available in CA. Has anyone purchased an extended warranty through them and if so what has been your experience?
