synthetic oil article

Last fall during a heated discussion on this site about Synthetics I promised to provide a link to an excellent article from a Canadian Trucking mag on the subject. I still dont have a link. I do have the complete article saved as file. Being as we cannot attach files I will send it to anyone who emails me: cartons@mb.sympatico.ca
I know you will be shocked at some of the comments from professionals in this article. Especially where one of them states that synthetics do not really help fuel mileage in a diesel as they do in a gas engine.

I will email you as I would like to read what they have to say. But as far as not getting and increase in fuel mileage with a diesel. All I have to say is may be not in big diesels but I know of plenty of pickup diesel that saw and increase.

My mileage went from and average 16.5 to an average of 17.8 over a 5,000 mile span. The only change was to Amsoil 15-40 from Rotella. Now if I could just keep my foot out of it!!
