Allison Transmission does not offer an extended warranty coverage for the pickup truck. There might be some sort of extended coverage available through the dealer, but I'm not certain. The extended transmission coverage program that Allison has available is only on transmissions used in "commercial" vehicles and motorhomes which are manufactured on medium/heavy duty truck frames, not conversions on heavy duty pickups/vans. Hope this helps to clarify your question. smile.gif

GM does sell a "powertrain" service policy it is called Basic Care. It will cover engine, tranny and drivetrain call a local dealer and see what it runs.

It runs over $1500. I looked into it. Better off getting a full extended warranty elsewhere for a similar price and longer term.
