Power Steering Fluid Flush

Is there any routine service interval for draining and flushing the power steering on a 2001 2500HD ? My dealer just recommended this for no particular reason. I can't find any maintenance interval for it in my manual. There are 47,000 mi on the truck.

GM recommends PN-1050017 (or equivalent) power steering fluid. You'll need a minimum of 4 quarts to do a flush/fill.

There is no mention in the owner's manual for recommended service intervals.

Check the fluid level once in a while, and unless someone can locate a recommended service interval, I'd flush/fill the PS system when you notice a change in fluid color or quality.
