Had a high pitch sound that we thought was from the turbo. Checked the trans filter and oh boy the fluid is black and all sorts of shinny stuff in it.

It's coming out now.

Any one else had this problem ???

The fluid in mine was black at the 25k mile flush. It took two more flushes and both internal and external filters to get it clean. It never did have any drivability issues, nor did anybody report shiny stuff in the filters :eek: . I traded the truck off though as a vote of no confidence. I didn't want to be stranded somewhere if it did what yours did.

Good luck getting much of an answer, most guys aren't having any problems. The ones that do have modded trucks and expect it. Sounds like a big enough failure to warrant a replacement. Hope it is still under warranty. If not, try kicking and screaming with GM customer service. Honestly, they do not respond to anything less than really PO'ed customers.
