22" wheel kit where do i find it?

I am looking to put the 22" Wheel kit on my 2004 3500. If you have done it what changes in the truck am I going to notice? I don

I'd like to know too. And why do the Ford and Dodges have larger tires on their duallys and were stuck with the little "cookie cuters"?

Mike I too wish GM would get their heads out of their a$$es and put some decent tires on the 3500s, but what really bites my a$$ is the fact that I can't even upgrade it myself! :mad: If I want to why can't I go to a 235/85/16 like every other 3500 runnin' around, but Nooooo, warranty denied, or we don't know how to recalibrate the speedo, or the wheels were specifically designed to run this size tire....blah blah blah. Yeah I'm rantin' but I want bigger tires and I don't want to have to buy every new gadget there is to make them work....Holy Crap!! Maybe somebody will come up with a cheap tuner that only does tire/gear ratio recalibrations and read/clear codes..... Yeah right!

I used adapters from ARROWCRAFT (http://www.arrowcraft.com) to convert to a 19.5" x 7.5" Alcoa aluminum wheel (285mm/10 bolt pattern). These adapters will also work with 22.5" and 24.5" wheels. The 19.5"/22.5"/24.5" wheels are medium and heavy truck sizes. There are a few pics of the 19.5" conversion at the link in my sig.

Try searching the Trucks & Drivetrain and/or Accessories forum for more info.

One other thing I have heard about the 19.5" tires, they come in load range F G & H. So be careful if you have any fillings in your teeth, you might not after a few rough roads...But they look extremely cool :D

I put a set of Rickson 19.5 wheels on a customers truck. It looks great. no adapters needed.

Email me for pics. bert@putnamgm.com Rickson wheels/tires seem to be the only real/safe option for both old and new GM trucks. I have seen these wheels used on armored SUV's used with an internial bead lock/run flat feature.
