View Full Version : Engine Heater
I have a 96 6.2 TD crew cab and lately when I plug it in to the house it flips the breaker that I have it plugged into. Any ideas about what is going on?

You mean 6.5 right?
It may be shot which could be giving you a dead short. I think you need to check resistance. Post this in the 6.5 forum.

First thing I'd do is try another extension cord. If that doesn't work and you know the outlet is good, then you have a short in the block heater cord.
