TROY, Mi. -- Delphi Corporation (NYSE: DPH) has been awarded a contract by Nissan Diesel Motor Co. to supply diesel engine management systems (EMS) for heavy-duty, 2004 model year truck applications. The EMS systems will consist of Delphi's new E3 Electronic Unit Injector (EUI), along with the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and engine management software. This Delphi technology will help enable Nissan Diesel Motor Co. to meet strict emissions regulations starting in 2005.
Delphi's E3 is the world's first electronic unit injector to provide variable injection rates"
