I've decided to build a flatbed for my truck instead of repairing the bed that's on it now, and I'd like to ditch the stock tanks in favor of aluminum ICC tanks of about the same capacity (20 gallons.) Does anyone know whether I can get some small enough for my truck? I'd prefer that they were shorter and fatter so they didn't go underneath the cab, but if they do that's not a big deal (I'll have extra room from a body lift.) How about mounting one at the rear, between the framerails like a Blazer or Suburban? Lastly, what's the maximum amount of fuel I can carry without needing a special license, DOT approval, or whatever? If I can find tanks that will fit, I'll install 2 sidesaddle and a 3rd at the rear and I don't want to go over a limit.
