Unfortunately, it's the gasoline engines producing the most pollutants, but we get all the heat.

just wait until you get a problem with an egr valve or something that will dump lots of smoke in to the cat. i am on my 3rd cat on my 97 tahoe l56 6.5td. it is sitting in the basement right now. it will get used 1 day every 2 years, just so i can pass emission testing
