VW TDI 2002 Champions in the SCCA Pro Rally

Don't know if anyone cares, but since I own a VW TDI as well as the Duramax, thought I'ld share this. It's also neat that it won using Soy diesel.

Pretty cool ;) I tried to convince 2 guys at work to purchase the TDI. They opted for 1.8 turbo. They were swooned by the gasser's higher initial HP.

I have a picture on my desk at work. I took it looking out the windshield of an Audi A4 on a highway in Italy. The A4 rental car had the same TDI 1.9L. You can read the speedo in the pic...200 KM/Hr. I wish GM had a 2.5L that would fit in my Olds minivan.
