Smoking 6.5

I have a 93 3500 dually with a 6.5 turbo.
My problem is in the mornings or anytime it has set for a while, the engine starts rough, shakes and smokes after starting. It runs fine after it warms up but until then it's smokey bear.
Any advice.

If smoke is white then the problem is most likely with the glow plugs and/or controller. There is a good description of the glow plug system in the troubleshooting guide (members area).
