Can't resist this one...anybody take a peak at the chatter in the 6.0L Powerstroke forum on http://www.thedieselstop.com/ ???
While we're figuring out out to keep the Ally alive with 500hp, they're "stock" picking up blown turbos, bad injectors and dealing with leaky rear mains that the stealers call "an artifact of manufacturing".
Sure is nice to have a Hot Juiced Duramax... http://www.freeadpower.org/~mrsmiles/contrib/lilly/hmm3grin2orange.gif

One of my troops got one that has been at the dealer more than on the road the 4 months or so he has had it.
I wouldnt poke fun at him except for all the crap he talked until it blew a turbo the first time.
He just lost his second turbo last week to what looked like some serious oil dilution, or should I say Oil was diluting the fuel in his oil pan.
Now, now, its not nice to gloat while our friends in the Ferds suffer through their problems...ever wonder why that web site is called dieselSTOP?? Because their trucks don't go?
Now, if I can only get that "service 4wd" message to go away and get the 4x4 lights to not change on their own....(only kidding. They seem to have fixed it) smile.gif
I get the big roll'ye eyes  when I see all the Duramax bashing .... But when your on "TOP" the one to beat the "Example " someone's all ways trying to knock you down ....
Yes it'd been said GM never really had a commanding share in the Diesel market ,but things change, the Duramax will prove worthy IMO ....
Ford has a great many years ahead of GM diesel ......
They definately shot themselves in the foot with the Navistar 6.p0s .... Certainly NOT a first year gamble purchase ..Those that did ,good luck ..... Resale value will be horrible to the ones that investigate before purchase .....
