My 03 GMC 2500HD SLE D/A will have the factory keyless entry system. My dealor is saying that the factory system will only sound the alarm if a perp were to bust the window and open the door, that there is no shock senser or ign cutoff. They are offering a alarm upgrade for $400.
Like the finish coating I am wondering if this is another BS deal? My buddy has a new Z28 and his factory alarm works just like any other alarm....goes off in a thunderstorm ect....
