Ok, I finally got my truck into the shop this week to straighten out the mashed sheet metal on my box corner. The stock bumper is about the same weight as a bag of aluminum cans and is pretty much junk, so I'm going without a bumper for a couple weeks, and still can't decide what to go with.
I found a company that nobody on here had mentioned at buckstop.biz They're out of Oregon, and look to make some real nice looking stuff. Anyone out there deal with Buckstop before? The rear bolts in like the factory, and you keep your factory reciever hitch intact. (~$399 + ship) Also- FYI their front replacement is really sweet looking.
Reunel also has some nice looking products. They seem to be a little more $$ than most others. Anyone deal with Reunel (reunel.com)? Their rear seems to be really heavy duty, and you need to remove the factory reciever as their bumper bolts to the frame where the factory bolts the hitch. Add another $100 (!!) for a reciever to add on to the bumper and you're looking at (~$475 + $100 + ship).
Suggestions? Opinions?

Thanks-
Chico

I cannot think of any more. I too need to replace my rear bumper. I "must" have one that will not fold like tin. The prozap is the lightest, I think.

I have had several Reunel front and rear bumpers over the past 10 years. Extremely HD and almost indestructable. Front bumpers have hit deer at high speed and not a dent - saved my trucks everytime. Fronts are made out of 3/8" or heavier and rears heavier. I had a front custom Reunel copy made for the D/A out of 3/8" & 1/2", and made a rear copy out of 1/2". Having been rear ended too many times, I put something back there that totals the other vehicle and barely scratches mine. Got rear ended while stopped on Fwy by a small car going 70 - he was toasted, no damage to my truck. HD bumpers do not cost - they pay.

I don't know about Ranchhand anymore. I have heard that that they were bought out 3 years ago and the bumpers suffered. They still "bolt right up" but do not have the strength they had before. Maybe they are thinner or have softer metal mix?
