Wheel 16 or 17 ??????

I need advise, I have now 285 on the stock rims and they have not worn well at all. So now I

those 315/70/17's are 35" tires [hummer h2 factory tires]. same height as 315/75/16. your looking at suspension lift to get them to fit. 17" tire options will grow with the new dodges [1500-3500] coming factory with 17" and being that no smaller of a wheel will fit.

the rim size does not make one bit of difference in rpm. tire diameter is what makes the difference. you could have 33x12.5x15 or 255/85/16 or 285/75/16 or 285/70/17 or 325/60/18 or 275/60/20 or 325/50/20 or 325/40/22 or 305/40/23. they are all

Look on the "got wheels" post a couple days ago and scroll down to where GMC D-MAX posted. He has 17 X 8 wheels with BFG MT 285/70 17. They look sweet. If I had a choice that would be the way I would do it. Take a look at his pics.
