Installing lighted running board on 2500hd, have any of you found where to splice into the wiring to lite the running board? boards should light when the door is opened.

I did an install similar to this and I ran one wire inside the vehicle and slpiced into the interior lamp under the dash on the driver side. The lights work fine and it's been about 2 years. I hope that the boards you are installing aren't a PITA like the ones I did. They were universal boards but the looked good after installed and the light are a nice addition.

THATS ODD I DO NOT HAVE A UNDER THE DASH LITE THEY MUST OF DELETED THAT LIKE THE HOOD LITE. BOTH NOT ON THE 03. SOME WIERD WIRING, SPENT ALL DAY AND NOTHING, GUESS I WILL GO TO THE DEALER AND ASK SOME QUESTIONS. BUT I LOVE THIS TRUCK.
