Thoughts and opinions please. You cant retorq a stretch bolt but you shure can the ARP head studs. Wondering if it is worth the time.

With ARP studs, many people that have used them say that you should torque to the ARP recommendation and then loosen and retorque the same fastener 5 times for proper stretch of the fastener.
I have a set of ARP connecting rod bolts and the instructions say to do the same thing.
They are designed to be reused.

I torque heads over the span of many hours, or a couple days, if convenient. If you torqued within an hour and the heads or deck surface wasn't good then maybe yes. Given ARPs i might after 20K-100K miles even if all flat....might restore some tension.
On wimpy aluminum heads of VW rabbit diesel (early '80's) using stretch/TTY bolts, the recommendation was a retorquing after 10K Mi. But those gaskets were softer than the Felpro crushing ring on the 6.5Ls. I am impressed by the nice flat rigidity of the head castings.
