View Full Version : Manual Front Hubs for Late Model 4WD?

I have "push button 4wd" on my 05 2500HD, no auto feature, and automatic transmission. Wanted to know if it was posible to install manual front hubs to stop the front axles from turning when you were not using the 4wd much. Would manual hubs even work with this type of 4wd system?

No manual hub option at all.

The front axle is splined directly to the hub with a large 36 mm nut clamping things up.
