Banks extension tip

Has anyone with Banks used a turn down extension tip? If so, did it make it any quieter in the cab
1500-2000 rpm??

I used the straight tip supplied. This may help blow the exhaust further away from your truck.
The turned down tip may add some additional restriction, and I heard of complaints with the turn downs that when riding on gravil roads, the exhaust blowing down can cause more dust to be blown back up on your truck. Thats what I heard.

Is there a tip for the banks exhaust that doesn't look like a chrome coffee can? Chrome tip would be nice to extend the pipe, but not 5".
