I just bought the AFE Filter/Box off of JK. His price could not be matched anywhere else (as far as I was able to research) to include friends who could get it "supposenly" wholesale. I had my bouts with the SS Diesel air filter set up and was disappointed. The heat had melted the prefilter, fast accumulation of dirt exceeded the trouble of cleaning it. The AFE set up was sweet but, there were some issues getting it in. The A/C hose had to be twisted up (from having recharged this summer) and the intake to the box was fastened to the inside of the box instead of out - again no issue. The AFE performance is far better than the SS Diesel - probably due to bigger air filter. Turbo whistling has increased significantly. I know the people out there with short arms and deep pockets would disagree with me about the price - but I only have to buy it once. If anyone is looking for a good used SS Diesel filter system it's available.
