A common problem. A friend had the same problem with his '03, dealer replaced them no question, no problem with the replacements.
It's not uncommon for them to stick. Do a search on this problem as someone was nice enough to explain in detail how they operate and how to tighten the clutch on the mechanism. I wouldn't wait too long when that clutch is slipping.

Forget fixing them yourself! I complained, and had both replaced. Never had a problem since. They even work after ice storms. It's only on early '03s.

Do a search on my member # (9025) in this forum for two posts about it. Since I had both sides replaced I have had no further problems. It was a bad batch early in the 2003 model year.
VaDmax2003,
Thanks for your help, read all the previous posts.
I will take it back to the dealer with this info.
I took my truck to the local dealer for this(did not buy it there)they found a bullentin for using a special lube before they would replace them!of course they had to order the lube(some kind of grafite)
If i could find the instructions on how to tighten the clutches i would do it myself!
It took some digging but i found them!seems to be working to!
