drawtight brake control install

I am installing a drawtight electronic brake controller on my 1996 3500. My question is, does anyone know which of the two wires on the brake peddle is the swiched one. one should be hot the other cold untill the brake is applied. I don't have the wireing diagram. one wire is white the other red.

Watch so you hit the stop lamp wiring and not the cruise break. The wire you are looking for is white, but probe with a test light first!
