Has anyone used the Fabtech 6" Lift Kit on their 2500HD? I was leaning to the Rancho 4" but have heard in order to use H2 wheels I'd need spacers for the correct back spacing and turn up the torsion bars for clearance with 35's. The Fabtech is suppose to allow the use of the stock back spacing. The Fabtech at 6" might look similar to the Rancho cranked up I suppose so I'd like see some pics of actual trucks to compare.
Thanks! smile.gif

Were the Fabtech lift pics with your pictures that your pics link points to, cause I didn't find them there? I did see a real nice red 02 with H2's on it but was it lifted? Or was I lookin in the wrong place?
Thanks!

A lift kit and spacers aren't required in order to run H2's on your truck. Go to this link which has pictures of my truck. Also note that the pictures were taken on a sloping driveway, and on level ground, the truck sits level.

The rancho 4" is actually about 5.25" lift. The fabtech requires much more work to put in than say for instance a 6" trailmaster in my opinon.

Hammer Down,
Where did you hear the Rancho 4" lift was closer to a 5.25" lift?
The installers I spoke with said the RS6548 lift alone is only about 2.5", and in order to get 4" required cranking the torsion bars several turns. For a level truck they only raise the rear 2".

The 4" Rancho I have on my truck was an easy 4" with hardly any t-bar cranking ... one of the reasons it rides car-like. The shop where I had it installed said I could get close to 6" if I wanted to crank the t-bars more ... but then would have to add more height in rear to keep truck level. I am VERY satisfied with the Rancho lift and the smooth, car-like ride.
i have the fab-6 in. ,rides great ,like factory ,strong lift, check out the spindle drop so you only change one a-arm,mine came in blue but i painted it black, mike
