X-Monitor for 2003

has anyone tried the x-monitor in a 2003?

I was considering it but find on my new 2003 with Bose it has a tweeter mounted on each pillar that looks like it will cause a problem when mounting the x-nonitor on the pillar.

Mayhbe the small speeker is not in the way but would like to know before I order one.

I was looking at a pillar mount set up, but I think it would need to be modified a little to clear the Tweeter.

I haven't looked at the interior of the 03 yet. Do you have the blank panel in the overhead console? I installed my Xmonitor display there. I had to build a box to angle it toward the driver in order to see it during the day. It turned out nice. The supplied cables are all long enough to reach.

CntrlCalDmax I took a look at your installation and that is an option I can look at. The 2003 still has that part of the consul there but no plastic cover which I can order I am sure.
