I went down to my local Vista paint store and asked them to match the graphite interior color using the original A-pillar plastic. They charged me $10 for a qt of paint and no charge for the matching. I used very little paint, and I think it came out great. I used one of those fill-it-yourself sprayers and the texture even matches very close.
It looked a little light at first, but once I was sure it dried, I used some protectant on it and it looks like the original. I'll post some pics this PM. Of course the digital camera will probaly make it look pink or something.
If anyone is close to a Vista paint store and is interested in the recipe, I can post it here. If anyone is interested in enough to paint the pillar pod, email me and I can mail you some in a baby food jar or some other container. The only charge is shipping. Figure $4 for USPS.
Email is socaldmax@cox.net. I'll reply with address and further info.
