I'm going through the same thing right now. Bought the 2 pod unit for the pillar. I ended up going over to a commercial paint store, they do color matching there (took the fuse panel cover) they had a pint for me in about 5 minutes. Took it over to a friend who owns a body shop and he is spraying it for me today and I will have it back tomorrow. The black was real close to the dark interior, but I am a perfectionist and had to have it exact!

I also tried getting the number off the tag in the glove box, but no one seemed to be able to cross the number.

I also asked the paint store if they could stick it in a spray can, but they said the color would not come out correct if I did it that way that I would have better luck brushing it on.

The paint mix was PPG paint, so if it turns out to be a dead on match tomorrow and you want the paint numbers let me know and I will post them. My interior is the "03 Dark Pewter"

Got my pod back today, wow looks great! To the average Joe, they would think it was stock!

I would like to know if anyone has matched the tan or buckskin color for the Silverado. My pod is close to matching but I'd like it closer.

Well I don't know what numbers they actually use to mix this stuff, but here they all are;

DMD664 139.5
DMD622 1.2

Thanks for the responses guys. I will head to an auto paint store tomorrow to check it out.

I am paying a shop to paint a lower bumper cover later in the week so I will get them to paint both at the same time.
