I know I have seen somewhere on here where someone has put an inverter in the place where the tape deck is. I did an search and I can not find the topic. I just would like to know what size/brand was used and how it was wired in. Any help would be great. Thanks

Not sure this is what you were looking for but Mdrag has an inverter installed in the console.

First determine the work (watts) you are going to do. Most items you are wanting to power will have this info on them. Remember that voltage X amps = power in watts.

Say you are going to run an electronic golf club grip removal tool, for instance, that runs at 5 amps at 115 volts. You are looking to provide this aparatus with 575 watts.

Most inverters crank the DC higher and then "invert" the mutha' to 115 volts AC at 60hz.

Find the inverter that handles your requests, then find a spot for it.

Remember that if 2 appliances at 600 watts will be running at the same time, you will need an inverter rated at least for 1200 watts.

Keep 'em fused -- keep 'em cool.
