How are those monitors? I just found them in a Best Buy add. They seem to be decently priced and easy to install. I take it the DVD unit is in the overhead console.

I like the Monitors. The Alpine M790 and the VizuaLogic Headrest Monitors are similiar in Quality. The D900 monitor by Alpine is the Ultimate but went with the M790 because I already had a radio (7998). The actual DVD player is in the center console between the two front seat. I should have pics on where the DVD unit is placed.
Always liked stereos, looks expensive. Does it sound as nice as it looks?

Yes it sounds as good as it looks. I am competing in Sound Quality Competitions and winning.
Looks Great.
Did you custom build the sub box? Would you be willing to share the specs? I am in the beginning stages of planning my upgrade and would like to place the sub under the seat.

That, is in two words, a wet dream.
How do you like your compustar remote starter? Im looking at putting one in once I get a good wiring diagram.
Apparently I need to speak to Ten-Speed about all these mods your making. :D :D
Looks great!

BassinRVer,
Got a question, I see you are running jammers, do they really work????
Any chance you could let me know the cost of two headrest monitors, where you bought them, I am going to run a PS2 with DVD capability and would like headrest monitors.
Thanks,
GMC ;)

I do not know if they really work. I have heard two different stories about them. But after two ticket for doing 90 in a 60 in one week I went out and got it. Time will tell if they work. One thing that the police are stupid about is that they think they are shooting a "Lazer" gun because it is portable and fits in their hand but is acually K or Ka. I have not found one traffic cop actually using true Lazer. I had one motorcycle police cop in Addison Texas shoot me with gun on purpose and he said it was a "Lazer" gun but it was only Ka. It makes you wonder.
The headrest monitors are VizuaLogic headrest and I got them for 1,400.00 installed for the two. I think you can but them cheaper online from VizuaLogic at http://www.vizualogic.com/.

THANKS,

Hey BassinRVer,
If you travel on the south side of Dallas along I20 or down I45, you will usually find plenty of Dallas County Sheriff deputies and local cops running laser. I know cause each time they hit me my V1 tells me

The sub box is a prefabricated box made by Probox. I do not know the dimension because it is made for our Crew Cab trucks. Do a search for sub enclosures and you will find these enclosures.
I rarely go south of 20 but thanks for the info. The only time my lazar goes off is around DFW airport and at the same locations each time so it has to be their systems setting off my lazar.

I'm running a K-40 laser diffuser and I have had good results.
I also built a .75 cube ported enclosure and use 3 JL Audio 6W0-8's powered by a JL Audio 250/1 mono block amp.....sounds like a pair of hard hitting 8"s or weak 10"s and it all fits behind the large 1/2 of the rear crew cab seat, leaving all the storage space open under the seats. I Still am installing the 3 way components in the front doors and have replaced the rears with JL's TR series 6-1/2" I like my Viper 150 ESP Remote start system and the Aux fast idle. The wiring wasn't bad but the Data Buss interface was fun to work with....... I wouldn't recomend trying it in an evening....a long weekend for a novice may not be long enough!
