I have the factory stock xm radio and my song name and artist does not work like they say it should. was wondering if this feature actually works for the stock radio or is their something wrong with the radio. it only works with one station in the twin cities that broadcasts in rds

It's the button labeled RCL located in the middle of the "Tune" knob.

You will press the button and receive the information. Every subsequence press will return more information in the loop. However, you can press it once to revile who is on, then press and "HOLD" it down until you hear a chirp sound, like your memory door buttons, and it will always display "who's on" any of your XM stations.

You can program the radio to "search" for your "type" of tunes. I'll see if I can find it. smile.gif

I did learn something new today. I had time to hang out in the truck before my testimony. I found out that the "duel" air controls could act as one. This has frustrated me for months! I found out that if you press and hold the "AUTO" button for 2 or 3 seconds it will lock the two dials together so turning the drivers side knob will change the temp on both sides. As tonight, the wife's side will go independent once turned. :D Man, the longer I have this thing the more I respect it.
