I have looked at alot of peoples trucks on here and I came across one the other day that had a grill replacement installed on their HD. I have tried to find it and could not. Could all of you post on here that have Chevy Grill inserts and where you bought them? Thanks.

Fatdaddy,
I've seen 'um too. Lund makes one, STS, Summit sells them. Thought about ordering one, but thought it would restrict air flow. As we Texans know, we need alot of air in our heat. Also, I wanted it for bug catching, but opted out.

Get one of the custom Truck magazines. There are enough accessories in those pages to satisfy your wildest dreams. They don't mention diesels, but what the heck.

I got a Lund stainless on my Chevy and a stainless one made by Precision on my GMC. Precision is a Canadian Mfg. My fan does come on a few more times than it use to. I got it mainly to protect the coolers from rocks. My windshield has many cracks but not in my field of vision yet. When I can't see anymore I get a new one. My driving lights and front of the hood are full of chips. What the heck, its a work truck.

Motovet, how much did that one set you back and where did you get it from? Is there an internet site to order them from? Thanks.

Fat Daddy,

Check out carriage works. I've paid $135 at 2kracing.com

I ordered mine from a local performance shop and paid a little over a $100 for them. Putco is sold by many suppliers.

I went to 2kracing.com and went through the entire site without finding any grill inserts. Am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks for the help.

Looked at your pictures. I like what you did with the front of your truck. Did you paint, have painted, the horizontal center grill bar to match your truck? How is it holding up?

Fatdaddy,

Sorry I steered you in the wrong direction. The place where I purchased my Carriage Works billet grill was customautoparts.com. Part number is 41092. I paid $135.95 ;) The web site for Carriage Works is www.carriageworksinc.com.
