Warn winch bumper for our trucks

I just found this picture of an '03 and I was wondering if anyone had pictures of the one that is offered for the '02.

after going to the above page you will click on truck/suv new products and then go to Warn HD bumper , sorry this is the only way I could get it to work.

I think this is a good looking bumper, what does everyone else think?

I'd say the only difference will be in the grill guard styling to clear the lights. I'd like the bumper minus the grill guard.

Boy do I miss snow drift busting with these plastic front ends!!!

I don't mean to be a doubting Thomas, but I have had very poor luck with Warn Bumper Products including winch bumpers. They are beautiful, but bend, spindle, and mutilate too easily. They use light steel and tubing instead of 3/8 or 1/2 steel and solid 1" or better round stock. Warn winches are great (especially the 15,000 lb), but if you are using your winch a lot, want great bumper strength, etc., go to Reunnel (spelling?) or Ranch Hand or something HD. If you don't use your winch and don't care about strength or ruggedness, Warn does make some beautiful bumpers for street trucks.

I had the classic warn bumper from 1974 on my '78. The center section was well built for my 8K unit but the sides were weak. I ended up replacing the sides with 5" channel that also wrapped around the fender corners better.

The HD series might hold better because the bumper has the added bend on the bottom. This will add a ton of strength. What I don't like is the brush guard. It's a brush guard. On my '78 I added a Roo guard. It was only 24" x 24" but it weighed 75lbs. If I had ever hit a deer the only thing left would have been hair!!!

I think gardnerteam is full of it!!! The trans4mer on my truck is heavy duty metal. Its very rugged and holds my 15000 very well. I have pulled some heavy vehicles outta the mud. I even pulled a stuck beer truck up hill out of the mud...his weight was well over 25000 lbs too. I have many more winching stories with my WARN TRANS4MER. I even have pictures posted so you can see the caliber of the metal used and how it is bolted to the frame and cross members. I did not get the trans4mer for looks.....just for the mounting system to handle such a heavy duty winch (15000lb warn winch).
