I saw a Suburban with a chrome Air Dam on the Front with round For lights. Anyone know who makes this unit. I have searched and can,t seem to find it. It really looked nice.

RichC:

PIAA makes a really nice air dam for their driving lights. I'm not sure if it's the one you saw, but you could check their website out: www.piaa.com. PIAA's are pretty pricey, but excellent quality.

Hope this helps! ;)

RichC,

I was looking though Sept 2002 Truckin' magazine and on page 101 there is an ad from JBM Truck Accessories 800-598-5555 www.sporttrucking.com .

There is a listing and pic for '99-'02 Chevy Silverado, custom chrome air dam with billtet and lights $395 (round lights).

Actually looks better than I imagined. I checked the website and this item was not listed. You'd have to give them a call to check it out.

Also found this site:

www.autostyles.com/airdams.htm

They don't have a chrome air dam listed for the new body style, but may not have the latest on their site.

Unless you are only cruzing flat highway, why
would you want to lower the front end clearance
by adding more "stuff"???????

I just got back from a trip up to the mountains
and my plastic air damn below the chrome got
hammered on granite rocks and rough road.

See: http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=935852&uid=469559&members=1

I'm ordering a new one for $84 to replace the
damaged part. I also broke the fog lamp brackets
and those are easily repaired.
